About The Artist

Rebecca Hutchings is a photographer based in Norfolk, UK.

I use my unique perspective to focus on creating images that have either been digitally manipulated in post production or by using multiple physical techniques to distort the image within the shooting process to create an alternative reality.

History

To start my photographic career, I attended Terrington St Clements High School in which I chose to pursue Photography as one of my GCSE options which later became my favourite subject in school.
After completing high school including the 2 years of GCSE's, I left with an A in photography.

I then went on to complete a 2 year course at the College Of West Anglia, Norfolk. The course that I completed is known as 'UAL Level 3 Diploma in Art and Design' (Photography). I later left the college with a Distinction. I was then awarded with a certificate for a 'Norfolk County Scholar 2018' to 'recognise the standard of excellence achieved' 'in Advanced Level Studies'.

In 2019, I am focusing on my personal photographic work after deciding to not pursue with photography at University. I am currently working towards creating my own homemade dark room to help me keep creating film photography. I am also currently looking for photographic related jobs or apprenticeships to help me continue to follow my dream career choice.
